Prep time: 15 Mins

Total time: 15 Mins

Yield: 15 bliss balls

Ingredients:

  • 1 banana (not too ripe, else it gives that very ripe taste in your mouth), peeled and mashed
  • 10 medjool dates, pitted and chopped finely
  • 1/2 cup desiccated coconut
  • 2/3 cup oats
  • Optional: 3 teaspoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup desiccated coconut, extra

Instructions:

  1. If you are not using fresh dates, soak them in warm water for 5 minutes and take them out.
  2. Add dates and banana into a food processor, process on high speed for 10-15 seconds to combine.
  3. Pour date mixture into a bowl, along with coconut, cacao, oats, maple syrup (if you are adding it), vanilla and cinnamon. Mix to combine.
  4. Roll the mixture into small bite-sized balls and coat in the extra desiccated coconut.
  5. Store in the fridge for up to 1 week – although I am sure it won’t last that long!
